6th graders were asked to research a city in the world and create a city tour brochure with their information. The students used the library databases, good research websites that their social studies teacher and I provided for them, and books from the library that I pulled for this purpose.

Before they began to research, students did an activity about finding good sources and what that means.

Students then used Microsoft Publisher to create a brochure full of researched information and beautiful pictures.
